YOUTH FOOTBALL
The Bulloch County Recreation and Parks Department offers an extensive youth football program for ages 5 to 12. We offer flag football and tackle football leagues and a Girls Flag Football league. Our program provides an opportunity for youth to participate in a fun, organized and safe football environment.The football program runs September through October.
Age Control Date: September 1, 2025 (age on this date determines which league a child will participate in)

Flag Football
The Flag Football league provides youth the opportunity to learn the basic rules and fundamentals of the game in a noncompetitive environment. All flag football players receive a team jersey and participate in practices and games.| Age | League | Practice/Game Days | Fee | Fee After Aug 10 |

Girls Flag Football
An all new Girl’s Flag Football league is played similar to our standard flag football program, utilizing the same rules and is a safe, non-contact sport. Girl’s Flag Football has found local popularity amongst high schools around the State of Georgia, so you can start training early! Tackle football
Three Tackle Football leagues are offered by BCRP. The Tiny Mite Tackle League introduces players to the basic level of fundamentals and techniques and builds on skills learned in the Flag league. The Minor Tackle league builds on the fundamentals learned in the Tiny Mite league by introducing the basic skills of tackle football. Certified volunteer coaches and department or experienced staff focus on teaching basic techniques that a player will use in the Minor Tackle league and in the future. The Midget Tackle league introduces players to the finer points of football. Standings are kept in this league and teams advance to end of the season bowl games. Parents are responsible for the player’s pants. They can be purchased at local sports stores or online. The age control date is September 1, 2025.
Please note there are NO exceptions to the age control date.
