GRPA 2022 Boost Award Announcement – Summer Camp
Hello Parents and Guardians!
It is time to get ready once again for Summer Camp! Summer Camp registration will begin on March 27th 8:00 AM online! The registration fee will be $15 and the weekly rate for camp will be $150! At the time of registration, parents will pay the registration fee $15 and a $25 deposit for each week that you’re signing your children up for to reserve your roster spot. Please make every effort to finalize your summer care needs PRIOR to camp registration so that you can avoid these fees. The camp registration fee ($15) and deposit ($25) are NON-REFUNDABLE. The rest of the $125 balance(minus the deposit) for each week is due one week prior to date of camp. See calendar provided at registration. Our theme this year is a Spectacular Summer Around the World. Each week our campers will learn about different countries through music, art, trivia, food, games and what impact these countries could have on daily lives in our country. Along with learning about different countries, we will also go swimming twice a week and take our weekly field trips to awesome locations on the Georgia Southern Campus and the surrounding counties. Field trips and snowcones will be paid for separately. Summer Camp will operate May 30th-July 28th Monday-Friday 7:30am-6pm. Camp will be CLOSED on Monday, May 29th for Memorial Day and on Monday, July 3rd and Tuesday, July 4th. Week 6 July 5-7 will be the only week of Summer Camp that will be prorated at $90 due to the 4th of July holiday. Camp will fill up fast and there is limited space- so register early. Summer Camp is open to the public and is for Pre-K through 5th grade. The grade level for each camp is the grade the child has COMPLETED as of May 2023!
Camp Cherokee North: Honey Bowen Building, 1 Max Lockwood Drive Statesboro GA 30458. Camp will be for PK -5th grades.
Camp Cherokee South: Brooklet Community Building, 416 N. Cromley Road, Brooklet, GA 30415. Camp will be for PK -5th grades.
Camp Cherokee Luetta Moore: Jones-Love Cultural Center 585 Martin Luther King Jr Dr Statesboro, GA 30458. Camp will be for 2nd -5th grades.
Camp Cherokee Younger: Fletcher Park, 707 North Main Street Statesboro, GA 30458. Camp will be for PK – 1st grades.

At the time of registration, the following will be due:
Summer Camp Registration Fee = $15
Weeks Child is Attending
Week 1 = $25 dollar deposit
Week 2 = $25 dollar deposit
Week 3 = $25 dollar deposit
Field trips and snowcones will be paid for separately.
Total = $90 due at the time of registration
