Tackle football

Three Tackle Football leagues are offered by BCRP. The Tiny Mite Tackle League introduces players to the basic level of fundamentals and techniques and builds on skills learned in the Flag league. The Minor Tackle league builds on the fundamentals learned in the Tiny Mite league by introducing the basic skills of tackle football. Certified volunteer coaches and department or experienced staff focus on teaching basic techniques that a player will use in the Minor Tackle league and in the future. The Midget Tackle league introduces players to the finer points of football. Standings are kept in this league and teams advance to end of the season bowl games. Parents are responsible for the player’s pants. They can be purchased at local sports stores or online. BCRP suggests light grey football pants.
